My Vision for Herndon's Future

I will continue providing independent, practical executive leadership focused on fiscal sustainability, economic growth, public safety, and maintaining the services residents depend on.

Safe Neighborhoods

  • Promote policies that increase safety and security throughout our neighborhoods.

  • Expand traffic-calming solutions and pedestrian safety improvements.

  • Advocate for more ADA-compliant public spaces and facilities.

  • Strengthen parking enforcement in residential and commercial areas.

Economic Growth and Fiscal Responsibility

  • Get our land back from Comstock! That was a appalling deal signed by the 2018 Herndon Town Council!

  • Grow the tax base without increasing the burden on residents.

  • Identify new revenue opportunities that do not require higher taxes.

  • Continue modernizing ordinances and regulations that impact economic growth.

  • Attract new investment, businesses, and visitors to Herndon.

Revitalization and Smart Growth

  • Revitalize the Downtown Business District.

  • Revitalize the Historic Overlay District.

  • Support responsible redevelopment and modernization projects.

  • Champion workforce housing and affordable housing solutions.

  • Encourage transit-oriented growth and economic development near Metro-accessible areas.

Community Events and Tourism

  • Bring major regional events to Herndon, including pickleball tournaments and the Tour de Herndon bicycle race.

  • Support funding for an annual Herndon Festival.

  • Expand festivals, community activities, and tourism opportunities.

  • Continue promoting Herndon as a destination town.

Parks, Infrastructure, and Innovation

  • Expand green spaces and implement green technologies.

  • Modernize the Town's information technology infrastructure.

  • Improve parks and recreation access.

  • Address golf course safety concerns through protective netting and other solutions.

  • Continue investing in infrastructure that supports long-term growth and sustainability.

A Practical Approach to Leadership

My approach is pragmatic, not ideological. I believe in balancing fiscal responsibility with the need to maintain quality services, invest in our future, and keep Herndon competitive with neighboring communities.

My commitment is simple:

  • Maintain high-quality town services.

  • Grow revenues through economic development.

  • Improve government transparency and accountability.

  • Avoid unnecessary tax increases.

  • Plan for the future with discipline and common sense.

Together, we can continue building a safer, family focused, and more prosperous Herndon.
